Good Beer Guide selection procedure.

Procedure for selecting entries for the Good Beer Guide Outline Procedure i. The North East Sussex branch currently has 7 entries in the Good Beer Guide.

ii. Any establishment in the North East Sussex area defined by CAMRA as a pub or club (with public access) may be nominated by a Branch member for inclusion in the guide, so long as it regularly offers at least one real ale or real cider, as defined by CAMRA.

iii. The nominated establishments are assessed as to their suitability at a formal branch meeting, and the Long List established is put to a vote open to the entire branch membership.

Criteria for Selection

cider on offer is the prime consideration.

ii. The National beer scoring system (NBSS) is used to provide auditable data to enable the selection process to take place. any establishments which have attracted ten or more scores from 4 or more scorers in the previous twelve months will be considered. Establishments with an average score of less than 3 are unlikely to be included on the Long .

iii. We warmly welcome and value scores by members of other branches.
